Recycling Days for July: Friday the 2nd and Friday the 16th. Valley Action has advised us that they cannot recycle wet cardboard – to avoid rain, don’t put your recycling out too far in advance!
Landfill Hours: Joint landfill north of Hague will be open on July 1st. Regular hours are Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
Spring Clean up: The annual back alley clean up by town personnel was completed in May. Any material or garbage left in the alley is the property owner’s responsibility. If you need assistance you may call the office for custom work rates.

Employment Opportunity: Town of Hague is seeking applicants for positions of Office Assistant and Librarian (Wheatland Branch). Office Assistant is ¾ time and Librarian is ¼ time. Resumes will be accepted for one or both positions. Deadline to submit resume is Friday, July 2nd. Please inquire at the Town Office for more information!
Summer Reading Program: Stop by the Hague Library Branch to register for “Destination Jungle”. Kids ages 5 – 11, for every 2 books read add a banana to your own tree! The more books, the more chances to enter for great prizes! For those kids 12 and older, “Teen Summer Challenge” is on! Stop by the library for more details. Hours: Tuesdays 6-9 pm; Wednesdays 2-5 and 7-9 pm; Thursdays 6-9 pm.
For Sale: Gently used baby items – rocking cradle, snowsuits, shoes. Girls clothing – infant to size 3. Boys clothing – infant to 6 months. Maternity clothes and nursing tops. Shop at my house, or I’ll bring things to you. Heather @ 225-4772.
