Compost: The Town of Hague offers a compost program free of charge. Pick up is backalley, every Monday from approximately beginning of May
to the end of October, notification will be put in newsletters. One compost bin is provided to each household. Additional containers are
the responsibility of the resident. Decomposed compost will be sold and delivered to Town residents for $5.00 plus GST per yard (one
bucket full).
Fire Fighters: The Fire Department is administered out of the Town Office and through a Fire Committee Board consisting of participating municipal
representatives. The Hague Volunteer Fire Department consists of and appointed Fire Chief and two appointed Captains are responsible for
training, reporting, investigating and maintenance of equipment and buildings used. All investigations shall be done by the Fire Chief who is the
local representative to the Fire Commissioner. Volunteers from town and the surrounding community with a member ship of around 16.

Garbage is picked up and hauled by Loraas Disposal every Thursday morning. Garbage is hauled to the joint RM/Town landfill. Loraas bins can be put out to the street the night prior at the user's discretion. Any damage to the bins are the responsibility of the user. Waste management of $7.00 per month per household is added to utility bill. Businesses have the option to opt out or go with metal bins, which are charged as per cost. Bylaw No. 2008-06
Pet Licence: Lifetime licence for Dog/Cat is $20.00 and is nontransferable.
Pound Fees are: Dogs - $25.00 plus $10.00 per 24 hours held after the first 24 hours.
Cats - $10.00 plus $5.00 per 24 hours held after the first 24 hours.
Other animal - $10.00 per animal
Police: The Town of Hague is served by the Rosthern R.C.M.P. Detachment. In the event of an emergency, please call 911
Recycling is picked up and hauled by Valley Action Abilities. Recycling days are the first and third Friday of each month. Blue bags are available, free of charge, at the Town Office or Hague Library. Recycling should be placed at the curb at 8:00a.m. for pickup. Recycling materials are: cardboard, paper, tin, glass and plastic. A flat recycling fee of $2.50 per household and business is billed on the monthly utility bills. Bylaw #: 2008-06.
Snow Removal: After a snowfall, Hague Public Works Department does snow removal on priority street first then proceeds to residental areas.

Water Tokens: As of May 1st, 2010, water tokens cost $5.00 / per 250 gallons.
